I’m a researcher focused on human interaction with science and technology. Specifically, I study how people deal with encountered uncertainty and the underlying psychological and decision-making processes. I’m captivated by the use of language as a psychological and cultural tool in human endeavors. I specialize in the analysis of behaviors and spoken and written text embedded in social contexts. I study groups as well as individuals. My overarching aim is to help people become better learners, collaborators, and decision-makers.
